The angry Trickster points, with lightning striking behind him.
Storyteller | "You brought darkness into my world," said the Trickster. "May it be in your heart forever." And so man was besought by grief and fear and age and want and hunger and despair. |
The light creates a woman.
Storyteller | Through harried forever due to Man, the Light could not behold such dire punishment. As Light had carved the world from darkness, so too did it carve a companion for man from the world. Earth enough to provide a vessel, water enough to provide blood, air enough to provide breath, and fire enough to provide life. And so man did call her woman. |
A tavern is shown, inside of which the storyteller, Red Mage, and Thief can be seen.
Storyteller | But the hour is late, our cups are dry, and my tale is told. |
Red Mage | So, did this open up a side-quest or what? |
Thief | I think he wants a tip. We must flee. |
Black Mage | This story? This is a crock. |
Fighter | So what you're saying is that a sword of light solved every problem in the univarse? |
