His penultimate attack having been foiled, Drizz'l unleashes his ultimate attack.

Cast Appearing[]

Setting[]

Script[]

Drizz'l You ought to be commended, Fighter. You managed to counter my penultimate attack!
Fighter Then it would seem that the pen is not mightier than the sword despite RM's claims!
Black Mage The pen is... dammit, Fighter.
Drizz'l, just defeat him. It will be worth getting eaten by giant spiders to know that Fighter's been taken care of too.
Drizz'l My use of "penultimate" does not imply writing implements. It implies an even greater force at my command.
Fighter Oh yeah? Like what? Some sort of, I don't know, ultimate attack, I suppose.
Drizz'l Yes.
Fighter Oh. Sucks to be me, then.
Fighter Ahem. Bring it on, Elfy McElfton. My kenshido is strong!
Black Mage Heh. Note to self: steal dumb "Elfy McElfton" gag.
Drizz'l Strong enough to face one of these?!
DRAMATIC SPLASH!
Drizz'l The dreaded Camel Spider! Mwa ha!
Fighter Camel Spider? What's it gonna do, smell awful at me?
Drizz'l You only wish. The dreaded Camel Spider is such a horrible creature that it's often cited by atheists as proof that there can be no such thing as a kind and loving god as long as it roams the Earth.
Camel Spiders are not technically spiders.
Rather, they're an unholy hybrid of the most awful aspects of both spiders and scorpions.
They can grow over six inches in length and run faster than the human eye can follow.
They hunt spiders, scorpions, mice, and birds. They have four pincer-jaws and their venom can paralyze a man.
They are without fear, they never sleep, and they viciously attack anything they perceive as a threat, which is anything they perceive.
And one of these creatures just hopped into your hair.
The Camel Spider jumps into Fighter's hair.

Trivia[]

The two instances of "perceive" in the last panel are misspelled as "percieve."
