It probably was. But 404 and 403... There are some numbers you automatically associate with something else. Like 69.  ILHI 12:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

I like how certain hobbies and occupations allow us to see more numbers that way. Whenever a Final Fantasy uses the number 255 as a maximum, I know that it's because they wanted to use one byte for that piece of data. I guess it's a similar experience that gives us 404. While I know what 69 means, I honestly can't see why it excites people so much. It's barely better than 1 into 0, minus the funny hand gesture. Eric Ryan Jones 14:57, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

It's the frequent reference to the number meaning what it does... that's why it's the first thing I think of.  ILHI 17:08, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
