'Lo and welcome to my talk page. I'll try to respond to most messages as soon as possible.
When I say most, I mean messages that do not insult, curse, or do other things that are frowned upon in polite society.

Hi. I'm Wendy, a helper with the Entertainment group on wikia. We're currently working on a project to help improve the "google rank" of our good wikis -- basically the idea is to make it more likely that somebody searching for "8-bit Theater" will pull up this wiki, and thus more visitors will stop by.

I just went ahead and created a Mediawiki:Description for google that uses some common search terms; you can feel free to edit it, but it has to be 150 characters or less (including spaces) and the idea is to focus on stuff people are going to search for. I used Google AdWords to try to get a feel for what people are looking for related to 8-bit Theater. Please feel free to play around with this tool; you know the subject much better than me!

Another trick we've found really helps is having keywords that people search for in Mediawiki:Pagetitle and Mediawiki:Pagetitle-view-mainpage. Google ranks search results based in part on what it sees first on the page, and those are the first thing it sees.

You've already got some customized messages in place for those pagetitles, and I wondered if you would be open to changing them. The suggestion I have right now is "$1 - 8-bit Theater Wiki - Sarda, Black Mage, Clevinger" ($1 will simply include the pagename). I chose "8-bit Theater Wiki" because while lots of people search for 8-bit theater, not many search for Sardapedia, and that's right over in the left-hand menu stuff once they get here :). Also we try to keep the whole thing around 6 words or shorter so it doesn't get crazy when the pagename itself is long.

Let me know what you think; I'm happy to work further with you to customize this, and I hope you agree that getting more visitors is a good goal :). -- Wendy (talk) 01:12, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

I think getting more users is a great idea, but I'm sorry to say I simply don't agree with your or Wikia methods. People who want to edit a wiki would look for "8-bit Theater wiki", not "Sarda", "Black Mage", "Clevinger". On Google, typing in 8-Bit Theater wiki" makes us come up 3rd after Wikipedia, which is a reasonable standpoint. Additionally, making our slogan into a robotic hash of what we cover most likely will not attract users because it is not catchy in anyway, shape, or form. Advertisers use catchy slogans to collect costumers for a reason, and isn't the point of this overhall just to advertise? Additionally, it makes us seem like a robotic, "unfriendly", rule-stricken wiki, which is not a great way to attract people either. Also, I like the name of the wiki because "the Sardapedia" exists inside the comic itself, which gives a perfect opportunity to give a name that mirrors some wikis and also show what the wiki is about. I commend your efforts to improve popularity of wiki, but I must refuse this proposal. ScatheMote 01:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
An interesting tidbit: if you google "warbot in accounting wiki," we're in first place, and if you google just "warbot in accounting," we're still above Master Conjurer 17:49, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Site Notice[]

I've noticed a spelling mistake on the SiteNotice. You've written "Want to help out? Check out the Manual of Style and this tutorial of the comic script fuction!" Jeppo (Talk) 12:50, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Another spelling mistake is that on the opening page it should say "Being the wizards who did it since..."

Will you quit beating me to such things!? First the Demon Wall and now this! Jeppo Talk 17:52, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

It's probably because Photoshop allows me to crop images in about 45 seconds. At least this time you didn't write a whole article. :/ ScatheMote 17:56, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
It usually takes about that time to crop in Paint too. I must be getting slow in my old age. Jeppo Talk 18:01, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Wow, how can you leave the wiki for that long? I can only do forced wiki-breaks. Like when I'm on holiday. And these holidays are always placed at times where I'm not stressed, so it doesn't do much.  ILHI 12:32, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

This is more of a forced holiday. I'm going away to support my grandmother with full back surgery, so it's not a wikibreak per say, just I'll be editing quite a lot less. ScatheMote 12:36, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
May I wish your grandmother a speedy recovery. Jeppo Talk 23:28, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Maintenance templates[]

You know, I was thinking of re-colouring the maintenance templates and making it so that it accomodates the different series we're hosting right now. By that I mean making certain templates with quotes or images from Atomic Robo, Warbot, or HIKYM. Heck, I might even makes new userboxes from the series...provided I'll have to scan snippets from my trades, or the previews online...What do you think? ChocolancerCL-528 15:56, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Sure. Some of the templates (like {{Images}}) have odd quotes and names. I'd suggest keeping the test templates the way that they are (just because they mirror the FFWiki ones ^.^), but go wild with the templates. Oh, and it's fine to do the userboxes. In fact, I was thinking about doing something similar (and add more 8-Bit Theater ones). ScatheMote 19:38, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

spotlight request[]

Hi ScatheMote. Sardapedia is in excellent shape. There are just two minor things. One is could you please make the font on your sitenotice smaller? The idea with a 2 line limit is to have it push the main page down no more than the width of two lines -- that big font is taking up way more than that, pushing the page content way down.

The second, as you mentioned, is the use of the welcome tool. While we appreciate wanting to personalize each welcome, the idea is to welcome people instantly so that they see the message (usually) before they leave the site; waiting for an admin to notice and leave a message can take a few hours or longer, even on wikis with dedicated admins. When the tool was put in place the results in terms of increased number of anonymous editors who created accounts and made more edits, even on wikis where the admins were very good about welcomes, were quite remarkable. You can customize the message shown, and you are welcome to go back and add to the automatic message, but in terms of building an editor base it is actually in your interest to turn on the tool. Which is why it's a spotlight criteria (to help keep new visitors on the site) and also why we do need it turned on to give you guys a spotlight. -- Wendy (talk) 01:36, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

Hi. That's great that you turned on the welcomes and made the sitenotice smaller! It's not necessary to turn on the welcome user pages. Unfortunately I don't know of any way to keep the Wikia edits out of recent changes. I asked a few people and they thought it couldn't be done. If you feel strongly about it, you could ask at the wikia contact page; that way the people who develop tools for the wikis will know that there is user interest in being able to do that. Meanwhile, I've added your wiki to the list for a spotlight. -- Wendy (talk) 23:28, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
Hi there. Wendy let me know that you were looking for a way to hide User:Wikia from Recent Changes. I just changed the user rights so that it behaves as a bot. Bots don't show up in Recent Changes by default, so they should be hidden to you unless at some point you set in your preferences to always show bots. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions :) —Scott (talk) 16:57, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the help Scathe XD This seems pretty good.

I know I haven't contributed or been on the IRC, but I'm still not ready to go back to editing. But anyways...just watching these anons thoughtlessly create an article for a forum thread damn well pisses me off. You think we're being trolled? Or maybe they keep mistaking our site for Wikianswers? ChocolancerCL-528 01:06, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

One of the anons messages was picked up the spam filter. But, the anons' comments don't seem boty to me, so erm, if they keep repeating themselves in the exactly the same way, then yeah, they're bots. Also, I was thinking of making a text dump forum where we could just dump the anon's comments in. And since we've had…four or so in the past few days I think that means that we're getting more readers. So that's good, I guess. :/ And speaking of Wikianswers and trolling, I think this is very funny. ScatheMote 01:20, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
Hahah...a hissy fit? Where? I've never been to FFWiki for months now and I've never bothered to look... ChocolancerCL-528 21:24, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure I don't give off hissy fits. But it's still pretty funny anyway. :/ ScatheMote 21:29, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Hi ScatheMote, I'm Austin, a member of Wikia's Spam Taskforce. I deleted Forum:Introduction because it was a spam article created by an IP address who created the same page across several other Wikia wikis. If you notice any more suspicious IP addresses, feel free to report them at the Volunteer Spam Task Force wiki (though you'll need to request editing rights first).--Austin (Talk) 04:50, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Ah, I suspected as much. But anyway, thank you for the alert. ScatheMote 12:37, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Spam filter?[]

Our little friend has made another spam page, but I can't make a template edit because the spam filter for some reason is preventing me from doing so. The word mentioned to be blocked is "Hey!", the article name...It's really weird...could it be an exploit in the system?

EDIT: Eeehh...the new messages template on the top of my page won't disappear. It's annoying. ChocolancerCL-528 18:00, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

The spam filter seems to only affect normal users. It's incredibly annoying. Well, at least I get to block a spambot. :/ And I have no idea what's causing the new messages thing to appear, so maybe you want to bring that up with Wikia. :/ ScatheMote 20:42, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
It went away, thank God. It's probably just a minor glitch. ChocolancerCL-528 21:10, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

Hello, SardaMote[]

Hey, it's NeoBahamut. Just wondering if I could get your help on a hack that I'm doing that you might be interested in. I'm taking a Final Fantasy VI Rom, inserting 8-Bit Theatre sprites, and molding it to the 8-Bit Theatre story line. Since you've read all the comics, it'd be nice to have you as a what do you say? You in? The God of Death

Sure, I accept. If you have any questions about the storyline, you can ask me. ScatheMote 20:42, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

The Random Quote gave this, which after looking at the template and the episode, I couldn't figure out how it gave this:

Fighter: "I think I'm bored out of my mind."
Black Mage: "I think you'd first need a mind to be bored out of."

Image Galleries[]

TALK - 21:25, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
I'm afraid they're a little too horridly orange...then again it could be because I'm using the Monobook skin...The default skin shows it as red.
ScatheMote - 21:39, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
They're orange in Monobook? Eh, didn't know that. Erm, I'm not sure why it's orange only in monobook (since it's supposed to be red). I'll look into it and see what I can do later tonight. >.>
TALK - 00:36, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
To be honest, I think the new red skin and image gallery colour is a little too much of an eyesore. If only it was a darker maroon, like the official site background colour (you can catch the hex number by using the ColorZilla app), it would look much better.
ScatheMote - 22:58, April 3, 2010 (UTC)
Erm, okay. I'll try that (sorry that I disappeared for a few days; a few unexpected things happened).

Why did you change my editing to Red mage!!! Write back soon!!!!!!!

TALK - 19:21, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
Wait a minute, was this the guy who said Red Mage was gay? I took that one off since it looked like vandalism and it seemed irrelevant anyway. Granted, he's a cross-dresser, but that doesn't prove that he was gay. I'd say he's "sexually ambiguous"...but why am I saying this? Character sexualities are entirely irrelevant and something only fanboys discuss about.

Of course Red Mage is gay. It's not his cross-dressing. Why won't you read episode 898. Thief says Red mage has a RAGING MAGE BONER. RM says he does not as far as he knows.

TALK - 19:16, April 8, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, so you proved it, but it definitely shouldn't be directly stated. A reference in the article is good enough. Can you prove though that Black Mage calls him a fruitcake all the time? I only saw him say it once...

Also, please don't put headers when putting up a post, put in four tildes (~~~~) instead after your post so we know who you are. Thanks.

Thiefmage 22:15, April 9, 2010 (UTC) Well I have proved the supereme Chocolancer wrong. By the way before I joined the wiki I sent you a message about the walkthroughs on the Final Fantasy Wiki. I especially like your FF VII it was awesome! Have you met my good pal..... RAGE MAGE!!!!!! He is my brother. Well thank you very much.

TALK - 05:27, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the compliment, though I thought my writing on that walkthrough was a bit retarded. I'm not really that good at writing long articles.

Anyways, first of all, you didn't really prove me wrong. I was asking you for some proof because for all I care, the thing about Red Mage could've all been false knowledge and vandalism. Second, I'm not a haughty, supreme guy...8-Bit Theater isn't exactly my area of expertise. That would be Atomic Robo (along with maybe Pakopako). Third, please refrain from putting headers (the == things) except if you're talking about a different topic. Thank you.

Sorry for the almost two-month hiatus...recent trade took forever to order (local comic store back-ordered it, so I cancelled it after 4 weeks and bought it in Amazon (hint: it only took two days and will arrive on Monday)) so I don't have anything to add to at the moment. I might go in and out in terms of activity due to schoolwork related stuff, but anyways, how are you? How's things in FFWiki? How's the IRC? Chocolancer 04:49, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

It's alright. I know sometimes books take unreasonably long to ship sometimes. I'm currently doing okay. I've got a lot of schoolwork, so my editing has been a bit more sporadic. Currently in the FFWiki there's a bit of a panic since Wikia is implementing a new skin all throughout Wikia. It's going to destroy all the format over there and the users are thinking of moving. I'm rather hoping it doesn't come to that, but the new skin truthfully is really bad, and nearly no one wants it implemented. The IRC is also pretty okay; most of the anger today is directed towards Wikia and not towards ourselves. :P So yeah, how're you doing?

TALK - 06:11, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
You know...if only there was some way we could create custom or maintenance bots that could automatically create script pages and other tedious tasks so things could be done at a shorter amount of time. That would be awesome. Too bad I'm still inexperienced with higher-level web design, and I've got other projects to work on...I wonder if Adola would be willing to make something...unless he's busy?
ScatheMote - 19:32, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
I can poke Adola on the IRC. Since I donated for the bot, one of the rewards is that he is permanently in debt to me for computer things.

New Wikia Look[]

Because of the New Wikia Look, some of the comics are messed up (the scripts are too wide or somesuch, ending up leaving a huge space when the script and {{Episodes}} cross over, due to the fixed width being too thin) For example Episode 638 (note you have to be using the New Wikia Look). In other news, you should probably use Special:ThemeDesigner at some point and make a new look. It's not too hard. Manga Maniac 22:09, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

I changed Oasis to look mildly like the Monobook and the Monaco skins, and I also re-uploaded ye olde Quartz logo. As for the fixed width, I can email Wikia to see if they'll help with it. I don't know how the CSS for Oasis works, so I'm stuck with asking them for help. ScatheMote 22:21, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
I fixed the script problem for now by taking advantage of a glitch. It's obviously just a temporary solution, though. ScatheMote 22:39, October 11, 2010 (UTC) even Oasis affects the pages of our humble little abode too? With all the talk of FFWiki moving to a new domain, I'm not sure where we'll be going if that ever happens...
EDIT: Did I mention that most of the text links for the AR script pages look almost transparent because the default colours of the text are now lighter? Dunno if that can be changed...too bad I still don't know CSS enough to help (nice job using the hiddenStructure glitch btw) Chocolancer 01:10, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
With the glitch, I'd never thought I'd be so happy that Wikia screwed up something. The text color I think I can change (the link color too is way too light). I'm going to try some CSS tomorrow to see if it works similar to Monobook/Monaco's. ScatheMote 01:23, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for being so fast in response. May I suggest that with the 'new' Sardapedia look with Black Mage, that he could be doing a Hadoken? With the words over the Hadoken, of course. Not sure how that would look. Also on Avatar Wiki, they have a MediaWiki:Wikia.css that makes the pages wider here. Not sure exactly how the coding works, but I've tested it and it works. Mind you, it works a bit too well and is really really wide, at least when I tested it. Manga Maniac 20:54, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
I'll try to implement the code later today or tomorrow. The logo that's in Oasis is the ancient Quartz logo from about two years ago; I'm just using it until something else can be put together (your suggestion is good). ScatheMote 19:52, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
Wikia's new look also messes up the navigation. Brilliant idea, Wikia, to completely ruin it Wiki's navigation. Manga Maniac 22:57, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
Using Monobook solves all problems...but probably not our visitors (if any). I really hate the non-existence of the's a hell lot more convenient alone than all the bells and whistles crammed into this PoS. Chocolancer 01:00, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
I'm still annoyed we can't get Monaco, though Monobook is a pretty good alternative. They aren't removing Monobook, right? Please tell me they're not removing that as well. Manga Maniac 18:29, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
They aren't removing Monobook. If they were, it would be a sad day indeed. ScatheMote 19:28, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
The code seems to be gone from the Avatar wiki. Ah well, but I can still upload a Hadoken Black Mage logo in the near future. ScatheMote 01:21, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, I do have the code on another wiki, if you want it. I'd have to temporarily undelete it, but it wouldn't be too hard to redelete. Manga Maniac 23:37, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that would be great. Thanks for the code by the way. ScatheMote 00:29, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to presume it'll need editing. Heck, knowing Wikia it might not even work any more. Manga Maniac 18:03, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Blarrrgh....CSS is teh bane of my existence DX
Meh, who cares about Wikia anymore....but then again there wouldn't be a proper Clevinger's ***-******'s database without it =P. Chocolancer 20:28, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
I could understand a fixed width (not that'd I agree with the idea), but they should really make it easier to adjust the width. Manga Maniac 22:12, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks again for the code. The toolbar has a bit of a seizure when it reaches the bottom of the page, but other than that it's good. I'll see how playing around with the css will help (I'm not so good with css). I'm also sorry being sparse of late. A lot of stuff is happening in real life. ScatheMote 01:00, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

I heard over IRC about KHWiki's plan to form an alliance with other SE wikis to form a non-Wikia wikibase. I like the idea since a benefactor's providing all of the stuff we need for free (if FFWiki ever decides to join), but I heard you and a number of other people were opposed to it... Can you explain the current situation right now? I'm kinda behind... Chocolancer 00:47, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Huh? We actually hate KHWiki? I don't really go there very often so I wouldn't know...what did they do to incur our wrath? What I do hate is the KH fanon wiki because I heard its staff members kiss each other's ass all day and block anyone who changes things.
I was actually discussing about the matter with the guy who was offering the deal at the IRC channel. To be honest, I'm all for moving, but since we can't purge our articles here we definitely might lose reader count (if we had any in the first place) so I'm starting to go in the gray about it. Still, I'm kind of a sucker for freebies (I mean free hosting, why not?) =/ Chocolancer 03:38, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry about interrupting your conversation, but something that's bugging me is that we cover stuff like Atomic Robo, which doesn't really have anything to do with SE. Since we do cover a Final Fantasy-based webcomic, and indeed its one of our primary focuses, I wouldn't be opposed to moving, but its just a bit weird. In all fairness we should probably be at w:c:nuklearpower but then we wouldn't get nearly as many visitors. Plus, 8-Bit Theater is awesome. Manga Maniac 22:27, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah...I was thinking that too. The only SE related material we have here is 8BT, and since we expanded our database to just more than 8BT, it's as if the wiki itself has become an "All works by Brian Clevinger and co." encyclopedia. It'd be weird to even just pass off as the Final Fantasy fanon wiki.
I was just thinking about the move thing because I was a bit concerned that if by any chance that the wiki moves (which might be a 1/65535 chance), we might get left behind. Of course, I was proven wrong in the IRC when they told me Wikia doesn't allow us to delete aricles when we move out (I could've sworn there were other Wikia wikis out there that were allowed to purge when they left, but they were probably small ones)
BTW: There's a Nuklearpedia? Wow...I had no idea. Chocolancer 00:18, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, there's a "Nuklearpedia!". Isn't it awful? :P Anyway, whether we move or not, we should definitely affiliate with the guys. Oh and Wikia is making sure everyone's articles stay here because otherwise they'd be financially dead. I mean, look at WoWWiki. If they'd been allowed to actually move, Wikia could kiss their lives goodbye.
Also, I suppose if the free hosting is being offered, and moving might get us a few more visitors, then I suppose... but I still have mixed feelings about the idea. While I think Sardapedia is fine as it is, but I'd hate to have to shovel even more Atomic Robo, How I Killed Your Master, etc. out of the main focus. Manga Maniac 19:37, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Nuklearpedia is Down[]

And all the entries of Twinkin' Out with it! Damn, I knew we should've just copypasta'd all of their archived entries into this wiki. I'm not sure if the guy hosting that site made a backup, 'cause according to this forum thread, he said the word "abandon". You know what that means.

PS I wish there's a user in this wiki who frequents that forum

PSS I might get into purchasing a copy of Nuklear Age soon through Amazon so we can actually start expanding that part of the mainspace. If you're interested, I could send you key points and summaries of each chapter and plot so it doesn't seem like I made stuff up. Chocolancer 03:04, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm…that's quite annoying. It also looks like it's been done for awhile. I tried looking for other archives, but they don't seem to exist (though now when you search for 8-Bit Theater Wiki, we come up first :P).
About the forum, yeah, I agree. It would be useful…but it's unlikely I'd ever be able to really frequent it with any real gusto. I'm not really a forum person.
That's great that you are getting Nuklear Age! It's probably not necessary to send me the key points because it's probably better just to put those in the articles if you're going to summarize them. :P ScatheMote 01:36, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
If Nuklearpedia's down, couldn't we use the Web Archive? Just saying. Manga Maniac 18:26, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
Tried that. Even Google cache. There's no particular archived record of that wiki because I suppose there isn't any significant amount of traffic in it. They don't really have that much articles to begin with, since most of them are related to the forum's history. Chocolancer 16:53, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

New series[]

I assume you've seen the front page already, but yeah. Three things came into my head when I saw this:

  • Carmen Sandiego
  • Spaghetti Westerns
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Dunno, just thought I'd say something about this presumed new series. Chocolancer 22:24, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

I agree with the Carmen Sandiego thing the most. Also, since the renovations on my house are finally done after having a horrible flood, I (hopefully) can come back and actually start doing things again. ScatheMote 00:18, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

Getting more than four tabs in the navigation bar[]

Just a tip, but if you replace all the *s with ***s and the **s with ****s in MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation, you can have an infinite amount of tabs rather than the usual amount of four. Currently the navigation lists "Top Content", "8-Bit Theater", "Atomic Robo" and "Warbot in Accounting". I think its time to add in the other comics now, since it's actually possible. Oh, and in its current state, Top Content is entirely useless, thanks to Wikia not have subtabs and stuff. Manga (talkcontribs) 19:41, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Your message[]

Oh, you've got MS? I'm not exactly sure what to say, since I can't exactly say "Get well soon". It's unfortunate that if that is the case, that you will have to leave Wikia indefinitely. If you see this message before you go (maybe you did, since I did not see you on IRC), I'd like to say that I thought you were an interesting person and I wish we could talk a bit more. Unfortunately with circumstances such as this, it wasn't possible beforehand.

I may be leaving for good because of my studying, but I will always be on IRC at random times. Hopefully, some other guy (or maybe our existing minor editors) will stumble into this wiki and take the reins as the next sysop or something. That, or some wiseguy from the NP forums would notice and add something here, seeing as they've got more knowledge on 8-bit than I do, or you do.

I will still be picking up on Atomic Robo, but I doubt I will be adding content here anytime soon. I do want to complete some basic stuff up on Nuklear Age (provided I can get through the damn brick), but after that I will not be editing anymore. Period. I don't care if The Dreadful picks up, but I will not be here to add that stuff anymore (hell, why am I adding that one up anyway? It's not written by Clevinger to begin with)

Anyways, see you later...and good luck on any of your future endeavours. Chocolancer 00:09, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Thankfully, it seems that I didn't have MS, but instead a strange mix of an illness and a very bad sleep disorder. Can't say it was fun. I've been meaning to return to the wiki for awhile, but I only just got better last week or so. However, with Sardapedia…to be honest I've never been that committed here. I hadn't really read 8-Bit Theater when I became the admin of the wiki, and I still haven't read the entirety of the comic. I became the admin…I'm not sure really. It was two years ago, no one knew who I was on the Final Fantasy Wiki, and no one wanted to admin over the wiki. Perhaps I felt bad that a wiki was to be abandoned. I'm not exactly happy with my reasons; in fact, I really should it was over two years ago now, and I've changed a huge amount since I joined in October of 2008. I joined as a forumite who made his first edit in the Dragon's Neck Coliseum. It's funny how much one person can change in two years, it doesn't seem like a very long time.
To be honestly, even though I'm not a huge fan of Brian's work, it's been great being here. I'm totally frank when I say that you and everyone else here are all great people. As for the adminship, I'm not sure what to do with it. The most active person here at the moment is Manga Maniac, and I'm sure he'd be happy to have it. I might start a forum in Rin's though. It's been really great CL; I really do hope I see you around someday. ScatheMote 00:48, March 22, 2011 (UTC)
